Situated next to St. Valentine's
church in Bethel Park,
Beinhauer-Connell is a stately building with beautifully landscaped grounds
and three visitation rooms, each with its own gathering room.
The building itself has been a familiar site in the
community for many years. The once modest brick home
underwent extensive remodeling to become the Martin
Harger Funeral Home. In 1959 Harold and Ruth Connell
purchased the Funeral Home and established it as the
Harold E. Connell and Son Funeral Home. Following the
untimely deaths of Harold and his son, the funeral
home was acquired by the Beinhauer family to provide
another convenient location to the communities and
families they serve . Mark S. Toward, Supervisor and
Ruth Connell continue to play active roles in the operation
of the home.
Conveniently located across the street from the Port
Authority’s Mesta
Street light-rail stop, Beinhauer-Connell is a proud sponsor of the trolley line
beautification effort.
